Tawny-browed Owl

Pulsatrix koeniswaldiana

An impressive Atlantic Forest endemic Owl that is particularly rare or uncommon in Paraguay. Cinnamon eyebrows and slightly streaked ochre breast are distinctive characters of this species, and that will help you to differentiate it from the Spectacled Owl (Pulsatrix perspicillata).

Two individuals have been found in our last San Rafael tours. http://www.wildlife.com.py/tour-san-rafael/
