Our biggest bird in America. In Paraguay it`s commonly known as Ñandu guasu. Usually in groups. Male has a black on neck and chest. It tipically occurs in areas with grasslands, such as campo cerrado, pampas and  in open chaco woodland. In Paraguay, can be found easily in the Chaco region, but its population is decreasing in the Oriental region.
